On the road again

It’s Spring, the weather is beautiful and I’m looking forward to hitting the road again. Life is looking better than it has in quite awhile and what better way to get outdoors in Colorado–in style and comfort–than in a conversion camper van?

#Vanlife has 9 million followers, testimony to the popularity of camper vans… so maybe I’ll be seeing some you in my travels this year?

The van pictured here is a vintage VW camper van, kitted out by Character Campers in the UK. It features bespoke birch plywood cabinets finished with Rubio Monocoat Hybrid Wood Protector in Charcoal and a solid European oak worktop and table finished with Hybrid Wood Protector in Pure.

Hybrid Wood Protector is a genuine “monocoat” for exteriors, suitable for coloring and protecting wood surfaces in a single coat. The easy application and maintenance makes this oil an exceptionally user-friendly finish–and it’s entirely suitable for van interiors, too.

If you’re in the market for a van conversion, check out this local maker, that we know and like: Titan Vans (Boulder) at https://titanvans.com/
